This course provides workers with practical knowledge and skills to safely perform manual tasks in the workplace. It covers hazardous manual tasks, safe lifting techniques, workplace ergonomics, posture awareness, and injury prevention strategies to help reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders and workplace injuries. Learners will gain an understanding of manual task risk assessment, safe work practices, and techniques for pushing, pulling, carrying, and handling loads safely in a range of workplace environments. The course supports safer workplaces by promoting workplace safety, physical strain reduction, and compliance with occupational health and safety expectations in Australia.

This course is designed for Australian workers across a wide range of industries who perform manual handling or physical tasks as part of their role.
