Overview

In this course learners will be taught the fundamentals of manual handling. They will be shown the potential risks and injuries that can occur as well as a variety of techniques that will help them to conduct manual handling tasks safely. The techniques of lifting, team lifting, pushing, pulling and lowering are addressed as well as the principle of TILE assessments.
