Bullying and harassment is not acceptable. In the workplace, it can have a significant negative impact on employees and the company they work for. There are many different types of bullying and harassment, and some are easier to spot than others. Some is unintentional but still unacceptable.

In this Bullying and Harassment course, you will learn about the different types of bullying and harassment, the consequences, how to spot when it is happening and what you can do to stop it.

  • Bullying and the law
  • Recognising what defines bullying
  • Bullying risk assessments
  • How to formalise policies and procedures to proactively address complaints of bullying
  • Establishing an organisation-wide set of boundaries on acceptable and unacceptable behaviour and setting a zero-tolerance culture at work
  • What to do in the event of bullying or harassment cases
  • Steps employers must take to prevent unlawful discrimination in the workplace
  • Necessary staff training to complement company policy in supporting those experiencing bullying
  • Necessary support that should be offered to those who have witnessed bullying, as well as experienced it.
