This course provides information to those who carry out water management tasks as part of an organisation's water management system, with an emphasis on preventing Legionnaires’ disease.
Objectives
In this course you will learn to:
- Identify the impacts of legionella bacteria on health
- Outline the conditions that allow legionella bacteria to grow and spread in different types of water systems
- List the controls needed to prevent Legionnaires’ disease
- Recognise your role in protecting people from legionella bacteria
