Course Overview

This course is designed to help managers act proactively to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. You will learn about your legal responsibilities, how to assess risks, and the ‘reasonable steps’ you can take to prevent sexual harassment.

Course Objectives

In this course, learners can expect to take away the following knowledge:

  • Describe employers’ legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010 and the Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023
  • Recognise different forms of sexual harassment
  • Identify ways to assess and reduce risks to team members
  • Provide examples of ‘reasonable steps’ to prevent sexual harassment
  • Explore best practices for handling harassment complaints and investigations
