Objectives

In this course you will:

  • Explain the main purpose of the CDM Regulations 2015
  • Recognise the consequences of not complying with the CDM Regulations
  • Identify notifiable and non-notifiable construction tasks
  • List the six main duty holders’ roles and responsibilities under the CDM Regulations
  • State the ways CDM Regulations compliance reduces risks in construction projects by improving communication and coordination between all parties involved

About the Course

Construction is a high-risk industry. Injuries, illnesses, and fatalities are surprisingly common compared to other types of workplaces.

The CDM Regulations 2015 aim to make construction safer for everyone.

Their main purpose is to increase coordination and communication during projects, improving health and safety from the planning stage to completion.
