Within Understanding BeMS COOLING Level 1 Course you will discover four main elements; Chilled Water Generation firstly takes a look at Refrigerant Law, then covers different Cooling plant, the Compression Chiller, the Absorption Chiller, Heat Pumps and Variable Refrigeration Flow systems. Then we move on to Chilled Water Distribution, which explores the different cooling circuits, the relationship between the Chiller and the Cooling Towers, Dry Air Cooling and Direct Expansion Cooling. In Energy Controls, we will be looking at Chilled Water Reset both entering and leaving the chiller and chiller sequencing. Finally we take a look at Terminal Units, this will cover Chilled beams both active and passive along with Split Air Conditioning Units.

This 45-minute course will give you an overview of all elements relating to the BMS.  Using periodic quizzes and audio narration, this eLearning course keeps the participant engaged throughout the training. There are inline assessments after each section of which the participant is expected to successfully pass at 80% or above. However, you will be able to retake the course once more. Once you have passed the course you will receive a Certificate of Completion.
