Course Overview

In this course, we will explore mental health in the workplace, from stress reduction to creating a supportive environment for employees experiencing poor mental health. By the end of this course, participants will be able to define mental health and mental illness, recognize the impact mental health can have on our overall well-being, identify common mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety, recognize the potential impact of the workplace on mental health, and define what a healthy workplace looks like, including the key components of a healthy workplace.

By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to promote mental well-being in the workplace and provide effective support to colleagues in need.

This course is approximately 30 minutes and is separated into 4 modules, the last of which is a quiz in which you must achieve a score of 80% or more to pass.

Learning objectives

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Recognize the impact that mental health can have on our overall well-being
  • Identify certain common mental illnesses, such as depression and anxiety
  • Recognize the potential impact the workplace can have on mental health
  • Define a healthy workplace and identify its key components
