Overview

Nutrition for Work Productivity introduces participants to the relationship between nutrition and workplace performance. The course explores how to create balanced meals using the Food Pyramid, read food labels, stay hydrated and practice mindful eating to support energy levels and cognitive function.

Objectives

By the end of the course, trainees will be able to:

  • Describe how nutrition and hydration can enhance alertness and productivity at work
  • Apply the Food Pyramid to create a balanced diet during work hours
  • Choose foods that increase memory, alertness and brain function while working
  • Examine food labels and make informed decisions when picking meals and snacks for your workday
  • Explain mindful eating and describe how it boosts productivity at work
