Overview

This e-learning course covers the dangers of fire, the importance of safety and all aspects of awareness and fire prevention. It is often used as part of a suite of induction or mandatory training for employees.

The course is broken down into 2 bite-sized units with the following titles:

• Dealing with a Fire

On completion of this course learners will be able to:

• Explain how the triangle of fire works
• Describe the nature of fire
• Describe the different types of fire warning systems
• Take appropriate action in the event of a fire
• Differentiate between the various types of fire extinguisher and explain their uses
• List their responsibilities regarding fire
