Course Overview
This course has been developed to provide learners with an understanding of the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law that protect consumers and how businesses deal with consumers.
Learning Outcomes
This course will provide an understanding of:
- unconscionable conduct
- product safety and product information
- manufacturer's liability
- consumer guarantees, and
- consumers' rights to a refund.
Target Audience
Businesses that provide goods or services to consumers in Australia must comply with the consumer guarantees under this Law. Businesses should take steps to ensure that they are compliant with these changes, by training staff working with customers on any new rights they may have.
