Course Overview

In this course, we will explore the aims of the Prevent strategy, the identification of radicalisation, and the reporting of concerns. By the end of the course, participants will be able to outline the aims of the government’s Prevent strategy, define the four British values, explain how individuals may become vulnerable to radicalisation, describe methods to promote a diverse workplace, and demonstrate how to make a referral to Prevent.

This course is approximately 30 minutes and is separated into 4 modules, the last of which is a quiz in which you must achieve a score of 80% or more to pass.

Learning objectives

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Define the four British values 
  • Explain how someone may become vulnerable to radicalisation
  • Explain how to promote a diverse workplace
  • Describe how to make a referral to Prevent
