Overview

This pathway is designed to give learners the ability to prevent modern slavery in all its forms. It will describe the seriousness of modern slavery, legislation intended to protect victims, how such criminal activity can be identified and how to stop it.

Objectives

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to:

  • Recognise the different aspects of modern slavery and exploitation
  • Explain how modern slavery legislation impacts their role
  • Describe the responsibilities of organisations and individuals for preventing modern slavery
  • Carry out the procedure for reporting modern slavery activities.
