Overview
This activity demonstrates how cybercriminals can exploit social media, the risks of unsecured networks and explains the steps you can take and things you can look out for to stay safe online.
This course forms part of the Access Group’s latest range of cyber security training. It is accredited and endorsed by the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), an organisation with a mission to make the UK the safest place to live and work online
Objectives
On completing this activity, you will be able to:
- Identify if a website uses HTTPS,
- Explain the risks of using public Wi-Fi networks and what to use instead, and
- Explain the importance of social media and online privacy settings and how/when to update/change them.
