Course Overview
Criminals try to trick people online into sharing confidential information. They then use this information to access private accounts. This is called social engineering. By exploiting human weaknesses, it bypasses antivirus software and other security measures. The only way to avoid it is to know how to spot it.
This course teaches learners how to avoid becoming the victim of a social engineering attack.

- Recognize smishing texts
- Keep private information secure on social media
- Avoid revealing answers to security questions
- Respond safely to a social engineering attack
