The equality legislation in the United Kingdom mostly comes from the Equality Act 2010. This act centralised previous pieces of legislation into a singular cohesive piece. In this course, we will explore this Act, and the key rights and responsibilities of employees within it. Objectives
In this course you will:
- Recognise the basic principles of The Equality Act 2010
- Understand the differences in The Equality Act 2010 between England/Wales/Scotland and Northern Ireland
- Highlight the key rights and responsibilities of employees within the act including targeted information and guidance for managers
