This course is designed to give learners the ability to prevent and report modern slavery and exploitation. It will describe the seriousness of modern slavery, detail the legislation intended to protect people who are affected and how such criminal activity can be identified and how to stop it.

Objectives

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to:

  • Recognise the signs of modern slavery and exploitation
  • Explain how modern slavery legislation impacts people and different industries
  • Describe the responsibilities of organisations and individuals for preventing modern slavery
