Course Overview

During this course you will have an understanding of how interviews are conducted and how you should perform in one. You will recognise the expectations. You will be able to understand the importance of having interview skills.

This course is designed to help the learner recognise what's needed to attend an interview. By the end you will be able to understand that interviews help the employer and employee assess their match for one another and identify different types of interview and their purposes. Various topics are covered in this course including getting to know different types of interviews, what to do in an interview, preparation, interesting facts and how many stages there are in the interview process. As well as, how to answer competency-based questions, reasons why people are sometimes not successful and according to bosses and employees. On completion of the course you will have the knowledge of how interviews are held and what is good practice within an interview to hopefully succeed in gaining employment.
