Overview
Everybody who comes into contact with children has a duty to ensure their safety. In this module we will look at types of abuse, warning signs to look out for, and what to do if you suspect a child is being abused.
Objectives
- Know what is meant by safeguarding
- Define the different types of abuse
- Understand what you should do if you see, or suspect that a child is being, or is at risk of being, abused
- Know where to go for help and advice about safeguarding

This course is for people who work in any sporting environment.
