Overview
Bullying is a universal issue that can affect anyone, from families, to schools and communities. Cyberbullying is on the rise, and its impact can be severely damaging and far-reaching.
This course explores the negative effects of bullying in any form, including cyberbullying, and teaches positive strategies and solutions for those working with young people who experience bullying.
Objectives
- Identify the different types of bullying
- Distinguish the technology and methods used by cyberbullies
- Understand the impacts bullying can have on a young person
- Recognise the signs a person is being bullied or bullying
- Know what to do if you suspect a child is being cyberbullied
Audience
This course is for people working in education or with children and young people in other capacities such as children’s services and child protection, and in other areas of social care and health care; parents.
