Overview

Welcome to the Care Certitficate Standard 16 : Awareness of Learning Disability and Autism This course provides a basic awareness of autism and learning disabilities that may be appropriate for professionals who are unlikely to interact with autistic individuals and individuals with a learning disability in their role. Further training beyond this course is needed to meet the requirements of Care Certificate Standard 16 for any care professional involved in supporting autistic individuals and individuals with a learning disability. The Care Certificate eLearning modules are designed to help you demonstrate knowledge and collect evidence required to complete the Care Certificate. These standards are the foundation of knowledge you need before you can work alone with the individuals you will be supporting.
