Over a million people in the UK have an eating disorder. This course looks at what eating disorders are, and who is likely to be affected.
Learning Objectives
- Explain who might develop an eating disorder
- Describe behavioural and physical signs that a person has an eating disorder
- Explain why early diagnosis and treatment are important
- Give examples of what to say and what to do when you think someone might have an eating disorder
Audience
This course is for anyone working with children, young people or adults who might be at risk of developing, or have developed, an eating disorder.
