Overview

A 30-minute role-cut of the EU AI Act course built for line managers who deploy AI tools day-to-day. Two decision-based scenarios put the learner in the chair: the recruiting manager whose shortlist tool just rejected a candidate by proxy, and the marketing manager whose chatbot misquoted fees on the record. No legal lecture, just the two moments where the manager’s call matters. Course delivered in English.

Target Audience:

Line managers, hiring managers, marketing leads, and customer-facing managers at EU companies (and EU-active companies) using AI tools day-to-day. Designed as a short companion to the full AI Act course for organisations rolling out AI literacy obligations beyond the compliance team.

Features and USPs:

Two-scenario condensed format. Decision-tree mechanics with branching consequences, expert and guided paths. Same legal content as the full AI Act course, role-cut to the two highest-incidence manager moments. Legally reviewed by qualified EU counsel

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognise when an AI tool decision crosses an Article 4 / Article 50 threshold the manager owns
  • Make the right call when a shortlist tool rejects a candidate by proxy
  • Handle a customer-facing chatbot output that misquotes terms on the record
  • Document the moment so the compliance team can defend it
  • Know when to escalate to the DPO or compliance lead
