Course Overview

Virtual meeting tools are a vital support to working from home, but teams often encounter problems as they adjust to using them. It’s common for team-mates to find they can’t communicate clearly, build rapport with their colleagues, or stay engaged in a virtual meeting. Leaders, meanwhile, often struggle to “read the room,” build consensus and gather useful feedback. For these reasons, sometimes meetings that are productive in the office environment break down altogether when they’re conducted virtually.

“Remote Teams: Improving Virtual Meetings” equips remote workers and leaders with the information they need to unlock the potential of virtual meeting tools. The 3-minute animation - with rich, learning-focused visual content and lively audio narration - identifies the key factors of a good meeting that can “go missing” in the virtual context, and provides strategies for bringing them back.
