Parkinson’s disease is a common condition for older adults. It’s important to have a basic understanding of it for those working in health and care, or even those just working with older adults in general. In this course we cover what causes Parkinson’s, what the symptoms look like, and how it can be managed.

  • How can it be diagnosed and treated
  • How to cope with, or help those in your care to cope with, a Parkinson’s diagnosis 
  • Explain ways to deal with and adapt to worsening Parkinson’s symptoms

Audience

This course is for anyone who wishes to gain an understanding of Parkinson’s disease, including those working with those who might be experiencing Parkinson's disease.
